Job summary

Managed People Solutions Pty in Port Elizabeth invites applicants to join a 12-month, full-time internship as a Sales and Merchandising Assistant. You will learn by doing, gain hands-on experience in sales, merchandising and customer service, and receive a monthly stipend.

Working with experienced Sales Representatives, you will travel on routes, support promotions, and build customer relationships while developing practical skills for your career.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and work full-time for 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Travel with Sales Representatives on daily routes as part of a ride-along team.
• Support sales activities and contribute towards achieving sales targets.
• Merchandise products and ensure shelves are neat, well-stocked and eye-catching.
• Assist customers and help build positive customer relationships.
• Gain practical knowledge of sales, merchandising and in-store promotions.
• Work as part of a team to achieve sales and merchandising objectives.
