Digital Brand Builders is a done-for-you e-commerce agency that builds and launches Shopify brands end-to-end. We are hiring a battle-tested Sales Manager to lead, coach, and scale the sales function from close to revenue growth, with direct impact on targets and pipeline quality.

You will own the team, coach closers, and partner with marketing to maintain high lead quality while driving performance against ambitious goals in a fast-paced, remote South Africa-based setup.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years closing or managing high-ticket sales ($5K-$25K+ offers).
• Proven track record growing a sales team in coaching, consulting, agency, or info-product business.
• Competitive, resilient, and hungry to hit targets.
• Deep understanding of consultative selling and premium buyer psychology.
• Strong call coaching ability: you can listen to a call and identify what cost the close.
• Experience with CRM systems and sales tracking.
• Highly organised, data-driven, and proactive.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where things change quickly.
• Based in South Africa, with strong spoken English and reliable internet for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and performance-coach a team of high-ticket sales closers.
• Hit and exceed monthly revenue and conversion targets for the sales team.
• Own the sales pipeline from qualified lead to closed deal, ensuring high conversion rates across all stages.
• Monitor daily KPIs, call activity, and close rates, and hold the team accountable to them.
• Run weekly team reviews, listen to call recordings, and deliver structured feedback.
• Work closely with the marketing team to ensure lead quality and pipeline volume.
• Refine and enforce the sales script, objection-handling framework, and follow-up sequences.
• Recruit, onboard, and ramp new closers as the team scales.
• Report directly to the founders with clear, data-driven performance updates.
