Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager in Gauteng to lead the Consumer Division's sales activities, mentor a team, and coordinate with key customers and principals. The role requires strong pricing discipline, collaboration with technical teams for product development, and active budgeting and forecasting for multi-year planning.

The position involves travel as required and managing relationships across finance, warehouse, customer care, and sales to ensure targets

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a management role leading a team.
• Degree in Marketing and/or Life Sciences/Chemical Engineering.
• Travel required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop all sales activities of the sales team across the Consumer Division.
• Support and manage relationships with key customers and principals.
• Manage sales pricing and margins effectively.
• Work with the Technical team to assist in product development initiatives and customer product support.
• Prepare sales budget annually as required.
• Drive Working platform.
• Ensure Budget is met monthly and forecasting is accurate for a 3-year view.
• Manage 1-2 key Accounts.
• Manage relationships between finance, warehouse, customer care, and sales teams.
• Market information on pricing trends, availability, and opportunities to be communicated weekly.
• Mentor and coach sales team concerning Company core values as well as Safety culture.
