Job summary

Workerslife Direct, part of the Workerslife Group, seeks a Sales Manager to lead the sales function in the allocated office/region, drive new business development and achieve targets while mentoring the sales team.

Locations include Claremont, Upington, Johannesburg and Durban. Required: Grade 12, a tertiary qualification in Marketing or Business Management, and 3–5 years of sales experience; FAIS Reg Exam Level 5 is preferred; RE 1 is advantageous; a driver’s licence is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate is required.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing or Business Management.
• 3–5 years sales experience.
• FAIS Representative Regulatory Exam Level 5 passed.
• RE 1 – Advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence will be advantageous.

1. PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the sales function within the allocated office/region, driving new business development, achieving sales targets, managing client relationships and providing leadership and support to the sales team.

2. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION

• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in; Marketing; Business Management;
• Previous sales experience will be advantageous.
• Valid driver's licence will be advantageous
• FAIS Representative Regulatory Exam Level 5 passed
• RE 1 – Advantageous
• 3 – 5 Years Sales Experience.
