Job summary

Epiroc is seeking a Sales Lead to be at the heart of our customer and sales operations in Pretoria. You will manage pricing, prepare and track quotations, and coordinate orders while ensuring smooth communication with customers and cross-functional teams.

You will drive quote-to-order processes, monitor conversions, and support demand and stock coordination. A strong background in technical mining sales and ERP/CRM familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in technical sales and mining industry sales.
• National Diploma or bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Certificate in order management or ERP/CRM administration will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial pricing, price lists, discounts, terms, MOQs and warranties.
• Coordinate RFIs, RFQs, tenders and quotations with approvals.
• Manage quote-to-order process and track quotation records.
• Coordinate customer purchase orders and confirmations; validate pricing and lead times.
• Liaise between customers and Operations on order status and lead times.

Join us as a Sales Lead where you will be at the heart of our customer and sales operations, ensuring seamless quotations, order processing, customer communication, and demand and stock coordination. Through strong collaboration and reliable sales support, you will help strengthen customer satisfaction and contribute to our commercial success.

Your Mission:

• Manage and maintain commercial pricing, price lists and terms, including discounts, delivery terms, lead times, quotation validity, currency, MOQs, warranties and shipping responsibilities.
• Prepare, coordinate and track RFIs, RFQs, tenders and customer quotations, ensuring accuracy, consistency and appropriate approval before submission.
• Manage the quote-to-order process, maintaining accurate quotation records and monitoring conversion from quotation through to customer order.
• Coordinate customer purchase orders and order confirmations, validating pricing, lead times and requirements while maintaining clear communication with customers.
• Liaise between customers and Operations on order status, priorities, lead times and potential delays, ensuring strategic customer requirements are appropriately prioritised.
• Oversee order processing and invoicing activities to support accurate, timely and complete execution and billing.
• Maintain accurate sales, order and pipeline data, including orders received, invoiced, on hand and outstanding or unprocessed purchase orders
• Prepare and consolidate sales performance reporting, including monthly sales reports, Customer Centre performance information and inputs for SteerCo and operating reviews.
• Coordinate customer demand, forecasting and stock requirements in alignment with customer commitments, sales priorities and internal supply planning.
• Provide ongoing sales support to Business Line Managers, including sales information, customer requirements, training materials, presentations and relevant process guidance.

Your Profile:

• National Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Sales Administration, Finance or a related field.
• A relevant certificate in order management or ERP/CRM administration will be advantageous.
• Five or more years' experience in technical sales and sales in the mining industry
• Experience working with Collision Avoidance Systems will be a bonus
