Job summary

A leading technology sales company located in Durban is looking for a motivated Sales Representative to join their team. The role involves handling customer inquiries, quoting, and processing sales orders, with responsibilities to actively pursue new client opportunities. The ideal candidate should have at least a Matric qualification and 1-3 years of experience in the IT field. A career in sales is preferred, along with an advantage for those familiar with the Fincon system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 to 3 years experience in IT related field is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Fincon system is an advantage.
• Willingness to pursue sales targets and attend training.

Responsibilities

• Receive email and telephonic enquiries.
• Quote as required within 4 hours of receiving enquiry.
• Follow up on quotes and process sales orders as needed.
• Call allocated customer base on regular basis.
• Cold call / acquire new clients on an ongoing basis.
• Attend all sales and product training as required.
• Complete daily customer call log sheets.
• Update customer database on an ongoing basis.
• Create sales plan approach for each major customer per product grp.
• Carry out any other instruction as required by Management.
