Responsibilities

• Allocate ticket stock by serial number for cashier.
• Record opening/closing serial numbers on daily stock sheet.
• Ensure stock issued and received are signed by supervisor and cashier.
• Reconcile shift reports with cash drop slips and ticket stock.
• Reconcile cash float and address recon issues with supervisor.
• Keep ticket stock secured in the safe and update stock register.
• Respond to customer queries and provide face-to-face service daily.
• Maintain personal productivity, adhere to internal procedures, and adapt to change.

We are searching for an experienced Sales Consultant Putco at our Kwaggafontein facility.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

We are searching for a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Consultant our Putco Marabastad outlet that predominantly services Putco Passengers. The Team Lead will be responsible for the sale of Putco Tickets and other VAS Services sold at the outlet.

Key Responsibilities

Cashier shift activities supervised

• Allocation of ticket stock (quantity of 200) by serial number to the cashier.
• Responsible for the opening and closing serial number of the issued stock is recorded on the daily stock sheet.
• The supervisor and the cashier sign that the stock was issued and received respectively.
• Responsible for issuing and signing for of additional ticket stock to cahier as and when required during the shift

Shift reconciliations performed daily

• Responsible for the reconciliation of the shift report with the cash drop safe deposit slips, the ticket stock serial numbers returned, and the shift untendered report.
• Responsible for reconciliation of the cash float
• Ensure all issues with the previous day’s recons, that require supervisor attention are brought to the attention of the supervisor

Ticket Stock Management

• Ensure all ticket stock is kept in the safe, which is kept always locked.
• Filling of stock count in the stock register to “self”

Customer Interaction

• Customer query resolution
• Daily face to face interaction with customers
