Job summary

Red Ember Recruitment is seeking a proactive Sales Consultant for our client in the East of Pretoria. You will conduct calls to potential clients, present BetterSure insurance products, tailor solutions to client needs, generate quotes, and convert inquiries into sales.

You will build lasting relationships, maintain accurate CRM records, and strive to meet KPIs in a high-volume environment while ensuring FSCA and FAIS compliance.

Qualifications

• Matric, RE5 and FAIS compliance are mandatory.
• Experience in high-volume sales targets and insurance/financial services is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead conversion: contact potential clients, present BetterSure insurance products, tailor solutions, generate quotes, and convert inquiries into sales.
• Customer relationship management: build and maintain client relationships, address queries promptly, and keep CRM records up to date.
• Sales performance: meet/exceed sales targets and KPIs in a high-volume environment; collaborate with Sales Manager and team.
• Compliance: ensure activities comply with FSCA regulations and FAIS requirements.

Requirements

• Matric Certificate, RE5 qualification and FAIS compliance (e.g. NQF5 Wealth Management) are mandatory.
• Relevant certifications or training in sales or insurance are advantageous.
• Minimum Required Experience:
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a high-volume, target-driven environment.
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is preferred.

Lead Conversion

• Conduct calls to potential clients based on leads provided by the bond origination businesses.
• Present and explain BetterSure's insurance products to clients, tailoring solutions to their needs.
• Generate quotes and follow up with clients to convert inquiries into sales.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Address client queries promptly and professionally, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales in the CRM system.

Sales Performance

• Meet or exceed individual sales targets and KPIs in a high-volume, target-driven environment.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager and team members to achieve overall sales objectives.

Compliance

• Ensure all sales activities comply with FSCA regulations, FAIS requirements, and internal policies.
• Stay updated on industry standards and changes to maintain compliance.
