Job summary

Helderberg Personnel in Strand is seeking a customer-focused sales assistant for our showroom. You will assist walk-in customers, handle calls and emails, advise on timber and related products, and prepare quotes with accurate records.

• Checking stock availability and advising customers on lead times
• Liaising with the warehouse regarding orders, collections and deliveries

• General sales administration and maintaining accurate customer records

Requirements:

• Matric
• Previous internal sales, counter sales or showroom sales experience
• Experience within the timber, building materials, hardware or construction industry will be advantageous
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good numerical ability
• Computer literate

• Able to work in a busy sales environment and handle several enquiries at once
