Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. is seeking a detail‑driven Rebate Analyst to manage rebate agreements in SAP, compile summaries, and validate customer rebate claims against trading terms. You will calculate settlements for payment, process approvals, and respond to customer queries, ensuring compliance with SOPs and audit requirements.

The role requires 2+ years in FMCG finance/commercial roles, strong Excel skills, and a focus on accuracy in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Qualification – Grade 12. Tertiary qualification would be advantageous.
• Commercial and Financial acumen within an FMCG environment with at least 2 years experience.
• Excel competency is compulsory.

Responsibilities

• Create Rebate, Distribution & Growth agreements in SAP.
• Compile Trade Agreement Summary and validate rebate deduction claims.
• Calculate rebate settlements for payment and process settlements for approval and release.
• Handle Customer Trade Allowance queries and investigate Rebate Recon discrepancies.
• Comply with SOPs, SLAs and policies; participate in audits and park journals for adjustments.

• Responsible to create Rebate, Distribution & Growth agreements in SAP
• Compile Trade Agreement Summary
• Validate customer rebate deduction claims received from AR against trading terms
• Responsible to calculate all rebate settlements for payment
• Process all rebate settlements for payment for approval & release by Trade Allowance Controller
• Handle Customer Variable Trade Allowance queries
• Investigate and provide comments on monthly Rebate Recon discrepancies identified and execute corrective action
• Comply to Standard Operating Procedures, Service Level Agreements and policies
• Internal, External and SARS audits > Accountable & Executing Actions
• Park journals for FIFO & Variable Trade Allowance adjustments
