Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Cape Town seeks an experienced Rebate Analyst to manage SAP-based rebate, distribution and growth agreements. You will compile summaries and validate rebate deductions against trading terms to ensure accurate settlements.

Responsibilities include calculating rebate settlements for payment, processing settlements for approval, and addressing Customer Variable Trade Allowance queries while maintaining SOPs, SLAs and compliance. FMCG focus with Excel proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualification – Grade 12; tertiary qualification advantageous.
• Commercial and financial acumen within FMCG with at least 2 years experience.
• Excel competency required.

• Compile Trade Agreement Summary.
• Validate customer rebate deduction claims received from AR against trading terms.
• Calculate all rebate settlements for payment.
• Process all rebate settlements for payment for approval & release by Trade Allowance Controller.
• Handle Customer Variable Trade Allowance queries.
• Investigate and provide comments on monthly Rebate Recon discrepancies identified and execute corrective action.
• Comply to SOPs, SLAs and policies.
• Audit support: internal, external and SARS; accountability and action.
• Park journals for FIFO & Variable Trade Allowance adjustments.
