Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Site Manager to oversee demanding commercial development projects in Rustenburg, North West. You will lead on-site operations, coordinate trades and subcontractors, and uphold strict safety and quality standards to deliver projects on schedule.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in site management, a construction-related qualification, and a proven ability to read drawings and manage resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or diploma in construction-related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of site management experience in commercial construction.
• Good understanding of North West building regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all on-site construction activities per plans and specs.
• Manage daily site operations, scheduling, and trades coordination.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and labor force.
• Maintain high quality control and workmanship.
• Conduct regular site inspections and toolbox talks.
• Manage site resources: equipment, materials, temporary facilities.
• Maintain site records: daily logs, progress, incident reports.
• Liaise with PM, engineers, architects, and clients on site matters.
• Resolve site-related issues and disputes promptly.
