Job summary

Craven Cottage CC is seeking a capable runner/waiter to support managers and chefs in a busy restaurant environment. You will help with service duties, maintain pass cleanliness, and ensure mis en place and cutlery are ready for service. You’ll carry trays safely and work with distinguished clientele.

The role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, smart appearance, and the ability to stay organized under pressure while assisting kitchen staff and waiters as needed.

Qualifications

• Preferably 1-2 years’ previous runner, restaurant or kitchen experience.
• Excellent interpersonal- & communication skills
• Comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele

Responsibilities

• Assist with any reasonable requests by a manager
• Be able to fill duties and responsibilities of a waiter

• Should be able to carry a tray with food safely
• Knowledgeable about the menu & Estate

• Responsible for sorting all empty wine bottles and organising the area where empty wine bottles are stored
• Polish cutlery when all pass duties are completed
• Assist the waiters in the restaurant
• Place orders for any condiments with the chefs
