Job summary

Tiger Brands in South Africa seeks a Returns Administrator to manage the end-to-end returns process within the distribution network, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will verify product and claim alignment, check quantities, stamp claims when balances are verified, and ensure that general trade returns are credited to the customer rather than the driver. The role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and willingness to work overtime or weekends when required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• FMCG exposure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product and claim correspond.
• Check quantity to claim matches product.
• Stamp claim when balances are correct.
• Ensure general trade returns are credited to the customer, not the driver.
• Verify quantity and product to prevent fungus-affected items being accepted.
• Balance general trade and claims returns daily with supervisor verification.

Managing Returns

• Ensure product and claim correspond
• Check quantity to claim is the same as product
• Stamp claim when everything balances
• Ensure that general trade returns are credited to customer not driver
• Ensure that the quantity and product is checked ,no product with fungus is accepted.
• Ensure that general trade and claims returns balance daily, and checked by supervisors

Safety and Quality

Utilize allocated cleaning materials in maintaining the high standard within the relevant work areaEnsure set hygiene standards are adhered to at all times.Ensure adherence to the Health and Safety regulations.Ensure allocated equipment is safe to operate and all safety features are operational.Ensure that all evident unsafe situations are reported, and attended to immediately.Ensure familiarisation and compliance with all company policies, practises and procedures and the manufacturing protocol.

Work Place Improvement

• Participate effectively in the Invocoms sessions.Participate and or identify non compliances to be addressed using the SGA process.Application of manufacturing Excellence Methodology
• Participate in all MECP activities

Qualifications & Experience

• Grade 12
• Computer Literate (Microsoft Excell, Word, Powerpoint)
• FMCG Exposure

Functional / Technical Competencies

• Safety protocols and compliance

• Accurate numeracy proficiency
• Attention to detail
• FMCG (food sector) experience an added advantage.
