Placements24 is seeking a proactive Retail Team Lead for our Paarl location to support daily operations, motivate the sales floor, and deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will be the point of contact for staff, handle escalations, and help achieve store targets.

This role offers leadership development within a dynamic retail environment in the Western Cape, with opportunities for shift work, customer service excellence, and collaboration with the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum leadership experience in a retail setting.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to resolve issues and motivate a team.
• Knowledge of basic retail operations and sales concepts.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays in Paarl.

Responsibilities

• Supervise retail associates on the floor and ensure policy adherence.
• Assist customers with product selection and resolve complaints.
• Keep the store well-maintained and visually appealing.
• Support Store Manager in achieving sales targets.
• Assist with inventory, stock takes, and merchandising.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members.
