Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Store Operations Coordinator to support our Paarl-based boutique lifestyle stores. You will handle inventory, scheduling, stock replenishment, and store presentation to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional customer service.

The role emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, with opportunities to learn retail operations in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail support or administrative role is desirable.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills are required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing inventory levels, including receiving stock and cycle counts.
• Help the Store Manager create and manage staff schedules for adequate coverage.
• Ensure timely replenishment of merchandise on the sales floor.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization and visual presentation.
• Process customer transactions accurately and handle cash and card payments.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures for the store.
• Address customer inquiries and deliver high-quality service.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures in Paarl, Western Cape.
• Liaise with suppliers and service providers as needed.
