Qualifications

• Matric Certificate is required.
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership role in retail.
• 4+ years of retail experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Supports the store manager by implementing and maintaining a staff structure to minimize payroll expenses and increase productivity.
• Assists the store manager by evaluating employees’ performance daily.
• Assists in spotting talents, potentials and training needs.
• Manage IR matters, handling employee concerns and ensuring policy compliance.
• Complete documentation for applicants, new hires, and payroll.
• Develop staff using customer service, training, and educational tools.
• Maintain personnel files to company standards.
• Ensure adherence to company systems and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of retail operating information.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and legal statutes.
• Develop skills to promote to the next level via daily interactions and training.
• Adhere to visual presentation guidelines and assist in merchandising and promotions.
• Resolve customer complaints and maintain inventory levels with store manager communication.
• Assist in planning, organizing, controlling, and auditing store operations.
