Job summary

adidas in Cape Town is seeking an enthusiastic Retail Associate to deliver adidas level service, greet customers, and assist in product displays and stock flow. You will handle POS transactions, support store policies, participate in in-store and digital training, and help maintain store standards while learning Power BI insights on sales performance.

Qualifications

• An absolute passion for retail & customer service.
• Clear and upbeat communication skills.
• Flexibility to help during the week, evenings and weekends.
• Previous fashion retail experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.
• Adaptability to handle various tasks and changing situations.

Responsibilities

• Provides adidas-level service to each customer.
• Completes regular sales transactions (cash, credit, checks, etc.) as needed.
• Assists with product flow from stockroom to sales floor on a fill-in basis.
• Supports development of merchandise displays per store guidance.
• Learns and uses the point-of-sale system in line with policy and procedures.
• Greets customers and helps them find products; may greet at the front door during busy times.
• Maintains store cleanliness and safekeeping of assets.
• Participates in in-store and digital training provided by adidas to gain product knowledge.
• Gains insight into store performance and best sellers, including Power BI usage.
