Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies seeks a Trainee Manager to join our Pretoria team and learn overall store operations under the guidance of a store manager. You will perform a wide range of retail operational duties with support from an experienced supervisor.

Qualifications include Grade 12 and 1–2 years in store retail management, including stock, cash handling, reporting and customer service. A valid driver's license and reliable transport are required; a related diploma is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Grade 12/ Matric is required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in store retail management including stock, cash, reporting, expense control and customer service.
• Willing and able to work retail hours.
• Valid driver's license.
• Own reliable transport.
• Advantageous: Diploma in Financial / Admin or a relevant 3-year Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Ensures processing of stock including goods in transit, cycle counts and stock to system matches and stock takes.
• Maintains efficient stock flow to the sales floor and supports shrinkage management.
• Assist with stock ordering to maintain correct levels for FMCG, Health and Beauty.
