Job summary

Sabenza IT & Recruitment seeks a Retail Leasing professional in Durban North to build and maintain relationships with landlords and brokers across South Africa, source new retail space for the group’s trading brands, and keep the opportunity pipeline current.

You will support lease renewals, coordinate agreements through to signature and beneficial occupation, and provide market insights to help the projects team and administration stay aligned.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (essential).
• Previous experience in retail leasing (essential).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (essential).
• Strong interpersonal relationships and attention to detail.
• Accountability, teamwork, integrity, reliability, and adaptability.
• Willingness to travel across South Africa as required.

Responsibilities

• Build and foster landlord and broker relationships across South Africa.
• Source and assess new retail opportunities for the group’s trading brands.
• Coordinate lease renewals and manage signatures and beneficial occupation.
• Provide market intelligence and stay updated on retail property trends.
