Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Retail Inventory Controller for our Bloemfontein, Free State store. You will manage stock accuracy, implement inventory procedures, and optimize stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs.

You will conduct regular stocktakes, analyze turnover and sales trends, and collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to forecast demand. A strong analytical mindset, organizational skills, and detail orientation are essential for success.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of inventory control within the retail store.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical stocktakes to verify inventory accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• Analyze inventory data, including stock levels, turnover rates, and sales trends.
• Monitor stock movement and ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
• Coordinate with purchasing and sales teams to forecast demand and plan inventory levels.
