Qualifications

• Proven experience in stock control or inventory analysis in retail.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using company systems.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory counts to verify stock accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system data and physical stock.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder points, ensuring timely replenishment of popular items.
• Analyze inventory turnover, stock aging, and identify slow-moving or obsolete stock.
• Implement stock control procedures to minimize shrinkage and loss.
• Receive and process incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy of shipments against POs.
• Organize and maintain stockroom and storerooms for efficient access.
• Collaborate with sales and purchasing to forecast demand and plan inventory needs.
• Generate regular inventory reports for management with key metrics.
