• Previous experience in stock control or inventory management, preferably in retail.
• Strong understanding of inventory principles and practices.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and cycle stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Manage receiving and dispatching of goods with proper documentation.
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies.
• Operate and maintain inventory management software and related systems.
• Monitor stock levels and report aging or slow-moving items.
• Investigate discrepancies between physical stock and records.
• Collaborate with sales/merchandising to ensure stock availability.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of stock in the stockroom.
• Assist in generating inventory reports for management.
• Adhere to health, safety, and security procedures.
