About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Retail District Manager to oversee multiple store locations in and around Randburg. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving sales performance, operational excellence, and team development across an assigned district. You will set performance targets, implement strategic initiatives, and ensure consistent brand execution and customer satisfaction across all managed stores. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-unit retail management, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven ability to achieve significant business results within the competitive Gauteng market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of Store Managers to achieve sales, profitability, and operational goals for their respective locations.
• Develop and implement district-wide strategies for sales growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
• Monitor store performance metrics, identify trends, and implement action plans to address underperformance or capitalize on opportunities.
• Ensure consistent execution of visual merchandising standards, operational procedures, and brand initiatives across all stores.
• Recruit, train, develop, and retain high-caliber Store Managers and retail talent.
• Manage district budgets, control expenses, and optimize resource allocation for maximum return on investment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-7 years of multi-unit retail management experience, preferably at a District Manager level.
• Demonstrated success in driving sales and achieving financial targets across multiple locations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and customer service principles.
• Ability to travel within the district regularly and occasional travel to corporate offices.
