Job summary

Excellerate JHI is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee inspections, manage service and maintenance contractors, and control tenant installations as directed by the Property Manager and Centre Manager. You will drive budgeting, expense control, building management, facilities maintenance and TI projects, with a focus on safety, quality and operational efficiency across shopping centre environments.

The role requires strong leadership, practical technical knowledge of electrical/mechanical

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Facilities or Operations Management.
• Electrical, mechanical, or construction background with technical skills.
• Experience in overseeing daily operations and coordinating team efforts.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
• Awareness and implementation of quality standards.
• Basic contract management abilities.
• Experience managing SLAs with vendors and service providers.
• Understanding of lease conditions and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and expense control for building operations.
• Oversee building management and administration tasks.
• Direct facilities maintenance and tenant installations.
• Coordinate with Centre/Property Manager and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with OHSA and statutory requirements.
• Lead risk management and incident response activities.
• Supervise and develop team performance and training.
