Job summary

Excellerate JHI is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee building inspections, contractor management, and tenant installations, ensuring efficient facilities operations and adherence to safety standards. The role requires 3–5 years in facilities or operations management, with a technical background in electrical, mechanical, or construction fields, and proficiency in MS Office and SAP.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Facilities or Operations Management.
• Electrical, mechanical, or construction background with technical skills.
• Experience overseeing daily operations and coordinating team efforts.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and business systems such as SAP.
• Awareness and implementation of quality standards.
• Basic contract management abilities.
• Proven experience in managing and maintaining SLAs with vendors and service providers.
• Working knowledge of lease conditions.
• Administration and reporting expertise.
• Cost budgeting and cost control.
• Knowledge of OHSA and statutory requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in basic numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and expense control for the operation.
• Oversee building management and administration, facilities maintenance, and tenant installations.
• Coordinate and manage service contractors and tenant-related activities.
• Ensure compliance with OHSA and statutory requirements.
• Manage and monitor SLAs with vendors and service providers.
• Coordinate and chair OHSA meetings and handle incident investigations.
