Job summary

Excellerate JHI is seeking an Operations Manager in Gauteng to oversee inspections, service contractor management, tenant installations, and building-related activities as directed by the Property Manager and Centre Manager.

You will lead budgeting, building management, and facilities maintenance, while coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and lease conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
• Between 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in Facilities or Operations Management.
• Electrical, mechanical, or construction background, with technical skills.
• Experience in overseeing daily operations and coordinating team efforts.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting & expense control: input on annual expense budget, manage monthly expense budget, create purchase orders, maintain stock register, issue work orders.
• Building management & administration: emergency and running maintenance, cleaning, security, house-keeping inspections, inventory, adherence to house rules, energy management, liaising with internal/external parties.
• Tenant installations, revamps & upgrades: act as on-site project manager for TI and small projects, coordinate with Centre/Property Manager.
• People management: performance management and staff development.
