Qualifications

• Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year cashier experience in a retail environment.
• Able to operate POS systems, barcode scanners and payment terminals.
• Effective English & Afrikaans communication.
• Willing to work weekends, public holidays and peak trading periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers politely and process purchases efficiently.
• Scan items, verify prices and ensure correct totals.
• Handle cash, cards, vouchers and loyalty payments.
• Bag items and maintain neat, clean till area.
• Inform customers about promotions and loyalty programs.
• Address queries or refer unresolved issues to a supervisor.
