Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires Grade 12 / NQF4 or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year cashier experience in retail.
• Ability to operate POS systems, scanners and payment terminals.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and process purchases efficiently.
• Scan items, confirm prices and total.
• Handle cash, cards, vouchers and loyalty payments.
• Bag items and maintain neat checkout area.
• Promote promotions and loyalty programmes.
• Resolve basic queries or refer to Supervisor as needed.
