Job summary

Clicks Group is seeking a retail team member to support point-of-sale operations, merchandising, and customer engagement in-store. You will ensure accurate cash handling, promote Clicks clubcard memberships, and uphold store standards while delivering a positive customer experience.

Desirable: Maths and English at Grade 12 level and previous retail/FMCG exposure to support promotions and stock handling processes. This role is fixed-term and in-store in Durban.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic maths calculations and retail/FMCG principles.
• Understanding of stock management procedures and customer service excellence.
• Desirable: Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level.

Responsibilities

• To efficiently execute all in-store operational activities at the point of sale.
• Maintain accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment, including clubcard rewards.
• Promote the Clicks clubcard and enroll new members to meet targets.
• Deliver superior customer service and act as a brand ambassador in-store.
• Maintain merchandising and general housekeeping per store standards.
• Keep updated knowledge on products, promotions and events to inform customers.
