Restaurant Manager – Luxury Italian Restaurant | Pretoria South Africa

A prestigious 4-star hotel in Pretoria is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our signature Italian restaurant and banqueting operations. We are looking for a hands‑on hospitality professional with a strong restaurant background who can deliver exceptional guest experiences in a high‑class dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations (breakfast, lunch & dinner)
• Lead front & back of house teams
• Maintain exceptional service standards and attention to detail
• Manage stock control, food costing and operational budgets
• Support banqueting operations, weddings and selected room service offerings
• Oversee off‑site corporate food delivery services
• Ensure consistent quality of food and service standards

Requirements

• Proven restaurant management experience (fine dining experience advantageous)
• Strong knowledge of floor service, operations and financial controls
• Wedding venue / banqueting experience an advantage
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills
• Ability to work weekends and evening shifts
• Preference will be given to candidates living close to Pretoria

Package: R35,000 gross per month + benefits (including medical aid)

Reporting directly to the General Manager.
