Job summary

Xara Collection is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house operations and uphold our high standards of service excellence. You will take full responsibility for day-to-day management, ensuring seamless service, outstanding guest experiences, and strong team performance.

You will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for quality while supporting the restaurant’s commercial success, including private events and functions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within a high-end or fine dining environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and strong organisational skills with the ability to manage busy service periods and changing operational priorities.
• In-depth knowledge of food & beverage operations and guest service.
• Hospitality Management Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Food Handler Licence (as per Maltese regulations).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team.
• Promote sales through menu knowledge, upselling and beverage pairing.
• Manage reservations, table allocation, and service flow.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally.
• Coordinate and oversee private events, functions, and special occasions.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and allergen regulations.
• Monitor financial performance, staffing levels, and operational costs.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery.
