Job summary

FSH Group – The George Sinovich Collection in Johannesburg is seeking a Floor Manager to lead front-of-house teams across premium venues such as The Codfather, Bowl’d, Riboville, Sxy Fsh, and MIRA. You will oversee dining and lounge floors, coaching staff to ensure a premium guest experience from table service to bar standards.

Reporting to venue senior management, you will manage daily operations, drive guest satisfaction, and uphold health and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in restaurant, lounge, or hospitality settings.
• Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily floor operations including opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise and train floor and bar staff to deliver exceptional, consistent service.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for timely, accurate order delivery.
• Handle guest queries and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organised, welcoming restaurant and lounge environment.
• Oversee stock, restocking, and supplier ordering.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Work with management on strategies to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and feedback sessions.

This role could be based at any of our venues, matched to your experience and our current needs at the time of hiring.

Job Description

As Floor Manager, you will oversee the dining and lounge floor at your assigned FSH Group venue, lead a front-of-house team, and ensure every guest gets a premium, seamless experience, from table service through to bar and lounge standards. You will report directly to venue Senior Management. Strong leadership and an eye for detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily floor operations including opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise and train floor and bar staff to deliver exceptional, consistent service.
