Job summary

The Key Recruitment Group is seeking a Residential Leasing Administrator in Cape Town to support leasing operations for flats. You will market available units, interview applicants, vet references, draw up lease agreements and maintain professional tenant relationships throughout the leasing lifecycle.

The role requires 3–5 years of residential letting experience, strong knowledge of leasing terminology, and clear communication about lease terms.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in residential letting/leasing administration (flats/apartments)
• Solid knowledge of leasing terminology and process
• Confident communication to explain lease terms to tenants

Responsibilities

• Assist with marketing available residential units (flats) to prospective tenants.
• Interview prospective tenants and assess their suitability.
• Check references and conduct background checks on prospective tenants.
• Prepare and draw up residential lease agreements (templates with tenant details).
• Communicate with tenants professionally on contractual matters and expectations.
• Support tenant retention through proactive, courteous communication while ensuring lease compliance.
• Work one Saturday morning per month (09:00 - 12:30), date varies.
