Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a vigilant Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations at a bustling construction site in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will ensure work aligns with project plans, maintain site safety, and coordinate trades to keep projects on schedule.

This hands-on role requires strong leadership, attention to detail and the ability to manage materials, equipment and workforce on the ground, while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar leadership role in construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and regulatory compliance.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations on site.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage diverse teams.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction docs.
• Trade qualification or certification in construction supervision is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily on-site construction activities, ensuring schedules and quality.
• Enforce health and safety protocols on site.
• Coordinate subcontractors, laborers and site personnel for efficient workflow.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify defects or hazards.
• Manage on-site materials and equipment, ensuring availability and proper use.
• Maintain daily logs, progress reports and site records for management.
