Job summary

Flair TM is seeking a dedicated ResLife professional to coordinate and support programs that foster a positive student community within the residence. The role focuses on engagement initiatives, wellness activities, orientation support, and building a sense of belonging among residents.

You will also manage student leaders, coordinate after-hours duties when needed, and ensure professional handling of complaints and feedback to improve residence life.

Qualifications

• Matric / Senior Certificate is required.
• Experience in student engagement or residence operations is advantageous.
• Strong administrative, communication and reporting skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support initiatives designed to build a strong student community.
• Plan residence life programmes and campaigns.
• Support student orientation activities.
• Coordinate wellness initiatives.
• Plan and support student events and community activities.
• Encourage student participation.
• Build a strong sense of belonging within the residence.
• Identify student needs and engagement gaps.
• Gather student feedback on events, facilities, services and the overall residence experience.
• Assist with student queries, concerns and residence-related matters.
• Document and follow up on student complaints.
• Escalate concerns when necessary.
• Communicate residence updates, notices, rules and reminders.
• Assist management in identifying recurring student concerns.
• Ensure sensitive student matters are handled professionally and confidentially.
• Provide students with clear and professional feedback.
