Placements24 is seeking a skilled Reservoir Engineer to contribute to exploration and production activities in Klerksdorp, South Africa. The role focuses on maximizing hydrocarbon recovery through detailed analysis, reservoir characterization, and planning using advanced simulation tools.

You will work with geoscientists and engineers to forecast performance, evaluate field development options, and identify EOR opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of reservoir engineering experience including simulation and analysis.
• Experience with South African Oil & Gas projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform reservoir characterization using geological and engineering data.
• Develop and maintain reservoir simulation models to predict production performance.
• Identify opportunities for EOR and implement strategies.
• Conduct economic evaluations of field development plans.
• Monitor reservoir performance and provide optimization recommendations.
• Collaborate with geoscientists, drilling, and production engineers.
