Placements24 in Centurion is seeking a skilled Reservoir Engineer to join our innovative team. Based in Centurion, you will analyze hydrocarbon reserves, optimize recovery, and support field development planning in a hybrid work environment.

You will lead reservoir modeling, perform performance analyses, and collaborate with geoscientists and production engineers to maximize asset value. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in reservoir engineering and proficiency with Eclipse, CMG, and Petrel RE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in reservoir engineering or related areas.
• Proficiency with industry-standard reservoir simulation software.
• Strong understanding of reservoir fluids, rock mechanics and well test analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform reservoir characterization and simulation studies to understand fluid flow and forecast performance.
• Develop and update reservoir models using Eclipse/CMG/Petrel RE.
• Analyze production data, reviews, and recommend recovery optimization strategies (EOR).
• Assist in field development planning, reserves reporting and economic evaluations.
• Collaborate with geoscientists, production engineers and drilling teams for integrated field management.
• Stay updated on new technologies and methodologies in reservoir engineering.
