Job summary

Hilton in Cape Town seeks an experienced Reservations Supervisor to lead group reservations, production stays, and related commercial support. Qualifications

• 2–3 years in hotel reservations with group bookings and block management.
• Strong experience with PMS/CRS systems (OnQpreferred; Opera also relevant).
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup functions) and reporting.
• Solid knowledge of ADR, RevPAR, occupancy and pace metrics; ability to interpret production reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with travel partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end group reservations process from block setup to rooming list and final departure reconciliation.
• Prepare and finalize Group Resumes and hand over to Operations.
• Coordinate with Sales/Events/Commercial on group blocks and contract terms.
• Manage group inventory, track pick-up risk and discrepancies; liaise with bookers and partners.
• Serve as key contact for group bookers; ensure smooth guest journey from booking to arrival.
• Coordinate meetings, conferences and events; communicate with clients on menus, timings, setups, and equipment.
• Issue Event Orders and ensure clear communication to relevant teams.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage and Operations for seamless event delivery.
• Lead reservations SOPs, PMS/CRS workflows, and staff training.
• Identify process improvements to reduce manual work and revenue leakage.
