Job summary

Accor is seeking a Reservations leader for a Cape Town hotel to drive phone, fax, online and email reservations, optimise room sales, and lead the Reservations team with a focus on guest satisfaction.

You will coordinate with Rooms Division and Revenue managers, upsell opportunities, monitor group bookings, and ensure data quality while maintaining brand standards across all channels.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in hospitality or related field.
• 5 years of industry experience.
• PMS knowledge: Opera.
• Involvement in reservations and revenue management processes.
• Familiar with loyalty programmes.
• Ability to manage guest experience and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all reservations over the phone by fax, internet and email.
• Increases and optimises room sales in line with the brand and hotel’s sales policy.
• Ensures all group reservations are dealt with in an efficient and pleasant manner.
• Multi tasks while under pressure and have a proactive approach.
• Responsible for managing the Reservations team.
• Coordinate group reservations ensuring contract rates are loaded correctly into reservations.
• Maintain an open line of communication with the Rooms Division Manager and Revenue Manager.
• Actively promote upselling within the reservations team.
• Attend RevMax meetings to discuss short term availability and groups.
• Provide efficient, friendly and professional service to all guests.
