Hospitality and Outdoor is recruiting a Reservations Consultant for a prestigious Luxury Lodge in the Eastern Cape. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional with a strong background in luxury reservations and guest service to join an established Hospitality operation.

The ideal Consultant will have 3–5 years of reservations experience within a 4/5-star hotel or lodge environment, together with previous Front of House experience at a luxury property.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ previous Reservations experience within a 4/5-star establishment – Essential
• Previous Front of House experience at a 4/5-star luxury Lodge or hotel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience using Protel will be advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced Hospitality environment.
• Self-motivated, organised and disciplined work ethic.
• Ability to prioritise and manage tasks independently.
• Strong planning, multitasking and deadline-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily administrative tasks relating to the Reservations department.
• Respond accurately, timeously and courteously to website, email and telephone enquiries.
• Handle guest enquiries and build strong relationships throughout the booking process.
• Capture reservations accurately, including quotations, bookings and guest information.
• Maintain an accurate client database and efficient administration system.
• Resolve guest complaints professionally and proactively.
• Work collaboratively with the Lodge team to maintain service excellence.
• Maximise sales through effective upselling of accommodation and additional revenue streams.
