Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, with focus on renewable energy or related industrial field.
• Proven track record of generating new business and meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the renewable energy sector across the George, Western Cape region.
• Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors and growth areas.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
• Negotiate and close contracts with favorable terms for the company.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and technical teams for cohesive client engagement.
• Represent the company at industry events and networking functions.
• Track and report on BD activities, pipeline and performance metrics.
• Stay informed about industry developments, regulations and tech advancements in renewable energy.
