Placements24 is seeking a Field Operations Manager to oversee all field activities for renewable energy projects in the George region. You will manage on-site teams, coordinate site logistics, and safeguard safety and quality across projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management and at least 5 years of field-ops leadership experience, with travel within the Western Cape. A company vehicle and bonuses are included as part of the package.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in managing field operations in energy or construction.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and site safety regulations.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the region.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and coordinate all on-site activities for renewable energy installations and maintenance.
• Supervise and lead field technicians, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
• Implement and enforce rigorous health and safety protocols across all work sites.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage site budgets, equipment, and material procurement for field operations.
• Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
