Placements24 is seeking a Youth Development Officer to design and deliver engaging online programs for young people across South Africa. This fully remote role focuses on guiding personal growth, skill development, and educational outcomes through digital platforms.

You will mentor youths, facilitate leadership and life-skills workshops, and connect participants with resources and networks. Strong communication and digital literacy are essential for success in a remote team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Youth Development, Social Work, Education, or a related field.
• Experience in youth work, mentoring, or program coordination.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and digital literacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage online youth development programs and activities.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to youths to set and achieve personal/educational goals.
• Facilitate workshops on leadership, life skills, and career readiness.
• Connect youth with resources, opportunities, and networks relevant to development.
• Monitor engagement and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to enhance outreach and support services.
