Placements24 is seeking a Youth Support Specialist who will work remotely to empower young people through mentoring, guidance, and access to essential resources. The role focuses on education, career development, mental well-being, and social integration via digital platforms.

You will engage with youth through online formats, deliver workshops, and help them navigate challenges in a fully remote setting. Ideal candidates have a background in psychology, social work, or education and experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field.
• Experience working with adolescents or young adults in a support or mentoring capacity.
• Proficiency in using online communication tools, social media, and virtual collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one virtual mentoring and guidance to young people.
• Facilitate online workshops and group sessions focused on life skills and personal development.
• Assist youth in setting and achieving educational and career goals.
• Connect young people with appropriate community resources, services, and opportunities.
• Monitor and assess youth progress, providing supportive feedback and encouragement.
• Maintain confidential records of interactions and outcomes using secure digital platforms.
