Placements24 is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer specializing in Water Resource Management to join a fully remote team. You will design supply, treatment, and distribution systems and conduct hydrological studies across regions, collaborating virtually with project teams and stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (Water Resources/Environmental), at least 6 years in water resources, and proficiency with HEC-RAS and EPANET.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with Water Resources or Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in water resource engineering.
• Proven ability to manage projects remotely and collaborate effectively in virtual teams.
• Proficiency in hydrological and hydraulic modeling software (HEC-RAS, EPANET).
• Strong understanding of water quality standards and environmental impact assessments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop water resource management plans, including supply, treatment, and distribution systems.
• Conduct hydrological studies, hydraulic modeling, and flood risk assessments.
• Prepare engineering designs, technical specifications, and tender documents for water infrastructure projects.
• Ensure designs adhere to environmental regulations and sustainability best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with remote teams, clients, and regulatory bodies using digital communication tools.
• Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to completion.
