Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer for a fully remote role supporting projects across regions. The ideal candidate will design water/wastewater systems, perform hydraulic modeling, and contribute to environmental sustainability through innovative solutions.

The role requires a Civil/Environmental Eng degree with Water Resources specialization, Pr Eng with ECSA, and at least 7 years of experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with Water Resources specialization.
Pr Eng registration with ECSA.
Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in water resources engineering.
Proficiency with hydraulic modeling software: HEC‑RAS, EPANET, SWMM.
Strong knowledge of water quality regulations and environmental best practices.
Excellent remote communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Design and develop water and wastewater systems including treatment plants and networks.
Conduct hydraulic modeling for rivers, floodplains, and urban drainage to assess risk and mitigation.
Perform feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments for water resources projects.
Develop water management plans for conservation, flood control, and drought resilience.
Prepare technical reports, design specs, and permit applications.
Collaborate with clients, regulators, and stakeholders for project success.
