Job summary

Placements24 seeks an accomplished Water Resources Civil Engineer for a fully remote role. You will plan, design, and manage water infrastructure projects, from pipelines to treatment facilities, with a focus on sustainable water management.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (Water Resources/Hydrology), a PE license, and 8+ years of experience, along with expertise in HEC-RAS/SWMM and GIS. Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Water Resources or Hydrology.
PE license or equivalent professional certification.
8+ years of experience in water resources engineering.
Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (HEC-RAS, SWMM) and GIS.
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and water management policies.

Responsibilities

Design and analyze water infrastructure systems (pipelines, treatment plants, dams, canals).
Conduct hydrological studies, flood modeling, and risk assessments.
Develop specifications and construction documents for water resource projects.
Manage projects from conceptualization through construction and approvals.
Collaborate with regulators and stakeholders to obtain permits.
Optimize water resource utilization and implement sustainable drainage solutions.
