Placements24 is seeking a proactive Civil Engineer specializing in Water Resources Management for a fully remote role. You will develop and implement sustainable water strategies addressing water scarcity, flood control, and wastewater treatment, working with distributed teams worldwide.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Civil Engineering (Water Resources or Environmental) and Pr. Eng with 7+ years in water resource planning, modeling, and project delivery, plus proficiency in HEC-RAS, SWMM,

Qualifications

Master's degree in Civil Engineering with Water Resources or Environmental focus.
Professional registration with ECSA (Pr. Eng).
Minimum 7 years in water resource planning, design, and project management.
Proficiency in hydrological modeling software such as HEC-RAS, SWMM, MODFLOW.
Strong remote work and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage water resource management plans for surface and groundwater.
Model hydrology to assess availability, flood, and drought risks.
Design and oversee water infrastructure projects (dams, canals, pipelines, treatment facilities).
Ensure regulatory and water quality compliance throughout projects.
Collaborate with government, environmental groups, and communities.
Prepare reports, EIAs, and feasibility studies.
