Placements24 invites an experienced Warehouse Process Improvement Specialist to join our remote-first logistics team. You will analyze warehouse workflows, map current and future states, and drive efficiency across facilities using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree and 5+ years in process improvement within logistics. You will collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams, develop training materials, and monitor sustained improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, SCM or Business Administration.
• 5+ years in process improvement or operations analysis within logistics/warehouse environments.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency with process-mapping tools and data analysis software.
• Excellent remote collaboration and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze warehouse processes, workflows and layouts to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen.
• Map current state and design future state processes for receiving, put-away, picking, packing and shipping.
• Collect and analyze data to measure performance and identify enhancements.
• Create business cases with ROI analysis for proposed changes.
• Collaborate with warehouse management and staff to implement changes.
• Develop training materials and conduct training on new processes.
• Monitor effectiveness and sustain improvements.
• Benchmark against best practices and propose innovative solutions.
• Maintain SOPs and process documentation.
